Watch the 2025 Doha International Equestrian Tour on Horse & Country
Following the remarkable success of the of the 2024 Doha International Equestrian Tour last year, the Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF) is delighted to announce the return of the winter show jumping tour, 2025 Doha International Equestrian Tour this year. This year’s tour will once again showcase top international riders across a range of exciting classes, including the prestigious CSI5*, CSI4*, CSI3*, CSI2*, and CSI1*. Each class highlights Qatar’s dedication to equestrian excellence, blending tradition with history.
It is set to take place in Al Shaqab at Qatar Foundation for 4 weeks of equestrian excellence, commencing from January 8 to February 15. The first leg comprises of three classes: CSI4*, CSI2* and CSI1* and will be held from January 8 to 11. Riders will then compete in CSI4*, CSI2* and CSI1* classes in the second leg, scheduled from January 15 to 18. As the excitement continues, Leg 3 will commence from January 22nd to 25th, featuring the competitions of CSI1*, CSI3*, and CSI5*. Finally, the highly anticipated HH The Amir’s Sword International Equestrian Festival will be held from February 12 to 15, featuring CSI1*, CSI3*, and CSI5* classes.
The 2025 Doha Tour promises to make a significant impact on the global show jumping scene by uniting these classes in a single arena, intensifying the competition and enhancing the experience for riders and the crowd alike. A world-class tour, it will feature riders at the top of the FEI rankings from around the world and offer staggering prizes totaling over 2.5 million euros. It is worth noting that the 2024 Doha Tour achieved numerous milestones, chief among them the impressive victories by top riders. In Doha Tour 1, Gerfried Puck claimed the CSI4* Grand Prix, followed by Henrik Von Eckermann’s success in the CSI4* class of Doha Tour 2. The tour concluded with Abdullah Al Sharbatly securing the CSI5* Grand Prix title during Doha Tour 3. In HH The Amir’s Sword showjumping title event at HH The Amir International Equestrian Sword Festival, Brazil’s Santiago Lambre captured the title after topping the CSI5* – Grand Prix – Jump Off – 1.60m class. These outstanding performances embody the spirit and excitement of the Doha Tour, setting a high standard for the 2025 edition and promising even more memorable moments ahead.
