London – February 11th, 2025 – British Dressage (BD), the National Governing Body for the sport of dressage in Great Britain, and leading international equestrian sports network Horse & Country (H&C), today announced details of their extended partnership for 2025. In addition to extensive live coverage across all levels of the sport, H&C will also produce two documentary series underpinning core BD objectives.

There’s a feast of live sport for dressage fans to look forward to in 2025. As in previous years members of Horse & Country’s streaming service, H&C+, can enjoy live coverage of BD’s two major championships, the NAF Five Star Winter Dressage Championships and the LeMieux National Dressage Championships. In addition, H&C+ will stream over 100 days of sport across all of the following competitions:

  • Petplan Area Festivals (Winter and Summer)
  • Quest National Championships
  • Premier League
  • High Profile Shows
  • Winter Regionals
  • Summer Regionals
  • CDIs
  • CPEDIs

All the classes covered at each event will be available to watch on demand on H&C+ and competitors can also stream the video of their own performance in near real-time from the H&C+ archive or purchase their clip to download, share and post

Over and above the sports coverage, BD and H&C will work together to produce two series designed to support BD’s objective of making dressage more accessible to everyone. The first series will showcase the wide variety of personalities (both human and equine) competing in the Cavago Associated Championships, which offer title opportunities for all breeds, sizes and types from Connemaras to Cleveland Bays.

The second series, “Quest for Success”, will follow the progress of a team entered into LeMieux Quest, BD’s fun and relaxed competition where team spirit and personal progress combine in a perfect starting point for riders new to BD.

Both series will be available on H&C+ and will also air on the Horse & Country channel, which is free to view on LG connected televisions in the UK as well as a variety of other free digital platforms.

On behalf of H&C, CEO Heather Killen commented, “We’re delighted to be taking our relationship with BD to this next level. Combining great live sport with H&C’s special sauce in original content production is a winning formula to enhance engagement with the sport. We’re excited to work with BD to grow the sport of dressage in the UK and build British dressage riders’ profiles internationally.”

For BD, CEO Jason Brautigam commented, “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Horse & Country as part of our mission to promote the sport of dressage through digital channels online. There’s a great line up of events scheduled for live streaming this year, alongside the introduction of two new standalone series to provide first class training and inspiration to BD members and dressage enthusiasts. We look forward to working with H&C to bring this content to new audiences in 2025”.

Annual membership of H&C+ is only £84.99 as a one-off payment, or there’s an option to pay in 12 monthly instalments of £9.99.
H&C+ members get access to all of H&C’s other live streams and can also enjoy our extensive library of masterclasses, rider profiles and documentaries, featuring many of the top names from the equestrian world.
