Amateur showing series kick off next month

The SEIB Search for a Star andRacehorse to Riding Horse Show Championshipseries both get underway next month.

Prestigious finals

There are five qualifying shows for the Search for a Star series, held all around the UK. Each show holds five classes including working hunter, riding club show horse, show hunter, show and show hunter ponies, riding horse and hacks, and cob classes.

The finals will be held at the prestigious Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) in October.

Running alongside Search for a Star is the popular SEIB Racehorse to Riding Horse Show Championship series, which also culminates at HOYS. The winner of this final goes forward to the HOYS Supreme Horse of the Year.

Dates and venues

Both series kick off at Osbaldeston Riding Centre, Blackburn on 12 April. This will be followed by:

Houghton Hall Equestrian & Alpaca Centre, Houghton, Cambs on 10 May

Stretcholt Equestrian Centre, Bridgwater, Somerset on 21 June 2015

Bury Farm Equestrian Centre, Slapton, Bucks on 5 July 2015

Vale View Equestrian Centre, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire on 8 August

Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, Stamford, Lincs on 6 September (RoR qualifier only)
